Rebecca NARRAINEN
Junior Associate
Rebecca Narrainen joined LEGIS & Partners in April 2023. Prior to joining LEGIS and Partners, she worked as an in-house lawyer and legal consultant within notary law firm, legal chambers, and a management company. Rebecca is well versed in property and real estate law. She is regularly involved in real estate projects by participating in the drafting of notarial deeds, trust deeds, statutory documents, and commercial agreements. Leveraging her experience in the AML/CFT sector, Rebecca occasionally assisted in submitting STRs to the Financial Intelligence Unit in relation to real estate transactions. Rebecca provided assistance in complex administrative procedures (authorisation permits) involving various Mauritian authorities (Economic Development Board and Prime Minister’s Office).
Besides her professional endeavors, Rebecca actively participates in charitable and philanthropic initiatives. She volunteers pro bono as legal consultant and compliance officer for national and international non-profit organisations. Rebecca regularly attends international peace conferences and seminars and dedicates her free time to implementing projects aimed at promoting inner peace and individual growth.
