Barrister/Associate Senior
Zahraa joined LEGIS and Partners in 2018. She mainly advises on cross-border transactions for local and international groups, restructurings and employment law. As part of her practice, Zahraa analyses and participates in the drafting of various contracts (employment contracts, leases, general terms and conditions of sale and purchase, etc).
Zahraa also assists with Mauritian employment law issues, in particular procedures relating to individual or collective redundancies;

Previously, she worked for a leading Mauritian law firm, where she assisted with corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and assignments of receivables, as well as drafting a number of agreements relating to the establishment of guarantees and securities and the creation and management of trusts;She has also carried out legal audits of domestic and Global Business Companies and has experience in data protection law. Before being sworn in as a lawyer, Zahraa had worked as a lawyer in a law firm specialising in litigation, where she assisted on criminal and civil law cases.
