Zahraa joined LEGIS and Partners in 2018. She intervenes mainly in corporate law, in particular on cross-border transactions involving both local and international clients, corporate reorganisations and employment law. Zahraa participates in the drafting of various contracts (contracts of employment, lease agreements, sales and purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.)

Her interventions include assisting on employment law issues, in particular in the course of procedures relating to individual or collective dismissals. She has experience in advising on and handling of complex administrative procedures (Tourism Authority, Registrar General, etc.).

Zahraa previously worked in a reputed Mauritian law firm where she assisted on corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, assignment of receivables. She also assisted in the drafting of several agreements for the creation of pledges, warranties and securities, and for the setting up and management of trusts. Her practice also involved carrying out due diligences of domestic companies as well as global business companies. She acquired valuable experience on data protection law.

Prior to her call to the bar, Zahraa worked as a paralegal in a set of chambers in Mauritius that specialised in litigation, where she worked on criminal and civil law matters.
