With over 25 years’ professional experience gained both in-house and in private practice, Catherine specialises in a wide range of areas of business and tax law. She regularly assists the firm’s clients in negotiating or drafting their commercial contracts, in choosing the best structure to set up or in restructuring their operations in all aspects of tax law.

Before joining LEGIS and Partners in 2002, Catherine worked in France for nearly 7 years as a lawyer (company law, insurance and contracts) in the legal department of Alcatel Cable (now Nexans), and then, after arriving in Mauritius, for 2 years in the insurance sector. Global business.

Catherine is committed to meeting the needs of investors looking to expand in Mauritius or the Indian Ocean region, whatever their sector of activity. She has been involved in numerous investment projects on behalf of French groups and investors (in real estate, luxury hotels or infrastructure projects, etc.), helping to draft and implement the corresponding agreements (joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, capital increases, share sales/purchases, etc.) or carrying out numerous legal audits.
